In Fall 2011, Horizon broke ground on a new facility to serve the intensive residential substance abuse treatment needs of WNY-area veterans. The planned 12,000 square-foot treatment facility, which will be located on our 11-acre Horizon Village campus, will contain 25 beds. It will provide specialized substance abuse and mental health services for Veterans within its current, unique and intensive substance abuse recovery and family programs. Residents will have full access to Horizon Village’s broad range of services, including primary medical care, pre-vocational preparation, the Wellness Center and on- and off-site educational opportunities.
