Erin E. Ryan, C.P.A.
Chief Financial Officer
“It means everything to me that, in some small way, the effort I put into my day’s work makes a difference in providing essential help to our community.”
As a member of Horizon's executive management team, Erin Ryan is responsible for the strategic and operational aspects of the organization's financial planning, management and development. Her previous experience as director of the Long Term Consulting Practice of Ernst & Young, where she worked for 16 years, is well suited to the duties of her job at Horizon.
Erin found coming to Horizon from corporate America a "healthy and inspiring transition" and has incredible respect for the Horizon community – from the physicians to the counselors to the maintenance staff – who execute Horizon's mission on a daily basis.
Erin received a B.S. degree in accounting from St. Bonaventure University, and a secondary concentration in Pharmacy from West Virginia University. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.
A resident of Orchard Park, Erin is past vice president and treasurer of the Mount Mercy Academy Alumni Board, an active volunteer on numerous special committees for Women and Children's Hospital and domestic violence organizations and 2007 recipient of Business First's "Forty Under 40" award.
