Vice President of Campus Operations and Development

As Vice President of Campus Operations and Development, Lisa’s primary focus is to develop operational excellence at the Horizon Village Campus, which is home to our residential facilities; Horizon Village, Freedom Village, Delta Village and the Terrace House Detox and Inpatient Facility located at 291 Elm Street. In total, Lisa oversees the operations of over 169 beds under the Horizon Village umbrella.
Lisa has held various positions over the years including Vice President of Employee Services where she developed the organization’s culture; created new recruitment and retention strategies and implementing program/services for organizational development through our biggest asset, our employees. In 2008, Lisa embarked on assisting Horizon to become a learning organization and established Horizon University offering a leadership program for current and emerging leaders. In 2011, Lisa developed a new Marketing Department whose primary goal is to create brand awareness, develop social media campaigns and build referral relationships.
Lisa has served on numerous boards including Horizon Health Services, the National Kidney Foundation (President), the Buffalo Lutheran Employment Services, the Nichols School Parent Association (President) and was founding board member of the New York State Wheelchair Transportation Association (Vice President) and the Women in Transportation Association (Treasurer). Lisa is a community activist and has served on over 40 not for profit fund raising committees resulting in being honored with the following service and leadership awards; Niagara Lutheran Community Humanitarian Award, the National Kidney Foundation’s Volunteer of the Year, the Buffalo News Hero of the Year, Business First’s 40 under 40, the Parent Teacher Association Innovation Award, Business First’s Women of Influence and the BLES Community Service Award. Lisa has been a past member of TEC International and is a current member of the University of Buffalo’s Rehabilitation Counseling Program Advisory Committee.
Lisa has her Masters in Organizational Leadership and she resides in Kenmore with her husband.
