Paige Prentice started her career with Horizon Corporations in 1995 as a recreational therapist at Horizon Village. Today, in her position as vice president of residential and medical operations, her responsibilities have expanded to include administrative and managerial oversight for programs across the corporation. These programs include Horizon Village, primary medical care services, psychiatric services, supportive housing in Erie County, the Road to Recovery program, corporate training calendar and corporate marketing.
Before coming to Horizon, Paige spent seven years at DeGraff Memorial Hospital as an exercise physiologist in the cardiac care unit. She received her bachelor’s degree from SUNY Brockport in Physiology, but eventually went back to school to become certified in alcohol and drug rehabilitation counseling. Paige received her master’s degree in organizational management from the University of Phoenix. She is a certified acupuncture detoxification specialist and a registered trainer for acupuncture detoxification services.
Paige is a member of the New York State Association of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Professionals; state co-chair for the Women, Children & Family Services committee; the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association and the WNY Public Policy Committee. She also serves on the board of directors of the Niagara County Community College Behavioral Health Department.
